Network Resources

Overview

The Network Resources page provides an overview of all networking components within the cloud environment, including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, and content delivery services like CloudFront. This section enables users to monitor the availability, status, and configurations of network components.

Key Metrics & Data Sections

1. Summary Metrics (Top Panel)

This section displays key networking insights:

  • Total Resources: The total number of networking resources deployed (e.g., 73 total).

  • Active Resources: The count of currently active network components (72 in this case).

  • VPCs & Subnets: The number of Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and subnets (17 VPCs / 55 Subnets), which make up the core network infrastructure.

  • CloudFront Instances: The number of CloudFront content delivery instances deployed (1 instance).

2. Network Resources Table (Detailed Breakdown)

The table provides detailed insights into each networking component:

  • Name: Unique identifier of the network component.

  • Type: Specifies whether the resource is a subnet, VPC, or CloudFront instance.

  • Region: The cloud region where the resource is located (e.g., ap-south-1, eu-north-1).

  • Status: The current state of the resource (available for active resources, Active for CloudFront distributions).

  • CIDR Block: The allocated IP address range for the subnet or VPC (172.31.0.0/20, etc.).

3. Filters & Sorting Options

Users can refine displayed network resources using:

  • Search Bar: Allows searching by resource ID or name.

  • Type Filter: Filters by resource type (subnet, VPC, CloudFront).

  • Region Filter: Displays network components by region.

  • Status Filter: Helps identify available, active, or inactive resources.

4. Use Cases & Benefits

  • Infrastructure Visibility: Provides a complete view of deployed networking components.

  • Security & IP Management: Helps manage CIDR blocks and prevent IP conflicts.

  • CloudFront Monitoring: Ensures content delivery services are active and properly configured.

  • Multi-Region Network Optimization: Helps teams monitor resources distributed across various regions.
