Cost Management – AWS Credits

The AWS Credits section provides users with insights into their cloud credits, utilization, and available funding programs.

Key Metrics & Insights

  1. Total Available Credits – Displays the total AWS credits remaining.

  2. Active Programs – Indicates the number of credit programs currently in use.

  3. Credit Utilization – Tracks the percentage of credits consumed.

  4. Days Until Expiry – Shows the time left before credits expire to help users maximize usage.

Account Credits Table

A breakdown of AWS credits per account, including:

  • Account – The AWS account linked to the credits.

  • Credit Type – Specifies the type of AWS credit (e.g., Startup, Migration, Education).

  • Total Credits – The amount of AWS credits allocated.

  • Used Credits – The portion of credits consumed.

  • Remaining Credits – The balance of credits available.

  • Expiry Date – The deadline for utilizing the credits.

  • Usage – Summary of how credits are being applied.

Eligible AWS Credit Programs

A curated list of AWS credit programs available for different organizations:

  • AWS Activate for Startups – Up to $100,000 in AWS credits for startups under 10 years old, funded, or part of an accelerator.

  • AWS Migration Acceleration Program – Up to $100,000 in AWS credits for enterprises with significant migration workloads.

  • AWS EdStart – Up to $25,000 for EdTech startups and educational institutions.

  • AWS Partner Credits – Up to $50,000 for registered AWS Partners to develop, test, and demonstrate solutions.

  • AWS Nonprofit Credit Program – Up to $20,000 for eligible nonprofit organizations.

  • AWS Free Tier Extended – Up to $5,000 in credits for new AWS customers.
